Halo Infinite continues the Halo 5: Guardians storyline and takes the franchise in ambitious and unexpected directions

My Role

On Halo Infinite I am working with the campaign team as a gameplay designer. My role was working on the main story dungeon missions in charge of mission and encounter design. This involved working mainly on designing and scripting combat encounters, involving enemy and weapon distribution and placement, for a number of the golden path story missions. It was my job to work with character and level designers to make sure that the flow of combat was not only interesting moment to moment but also built on itself and escalated to a final confrontation that felt fun, challenging, and earned. On top of that I worked closely with writers and narrative to work any necessary story events into the flow of the game, making sure that gameplay and narrative were working together to tell the story of the mission.
